Reportedly, Korean Posco P&S purchased two batches of scraps from Japan, including Shindachi scraps with prices of ￥38,500/ton C&F and P&S scraps with prices of ￥38,000/ton C&F.
At the same time, SeAH Besteel also purchased two batches of scraps from Japan. Among them, the purchasing price for Shindachi scraps was at ￥38,700/ton C&F and that for P&S was at ￥36,200/ton FOB.
Also, Hyundai Steel bought around 40,000 tons of scraps from Japana last week, including H2 scraps with prices of ￥33,000~￥33500/ton FOB, P&S scraps with prices of ￥35,500/ton FOB and Shindachi scraps with prices of ￥36,000/ton FOB.
